These inspections are essentially Predictive in nature. Conducted with Non-intrusive Technologies such as Infrared Thermal Imaging, Ultrasound Detection & Vibration measurements.
Thermal Imaging: With the Thermal Signature, we can see the Infrared Radiation which we can not see otherwise.
Ultrasound: With Ultrasound machine, we can hear the High Frequency sound which we can not hear otherwise.
Vibration survey: Vibration signature shows the physical movement of the machine indicating the health condition of the same.
This is a combined inspection with Thermal Imaging, Ultrasound & Vibration. These inspections are very special and not practiced by most of the companies in the world in the Maritime Industry.
The inspections are mainly used for:
- Pre-docking to decide the scope of work
- Second hand vessel take over to set the PMS system
- New building vessels for Guarantee claims
- Trouble shooting of various systems onboard
